Peptidci

Peptitler (Grekçe: πεπτίδια; “bayağı sindirilebilirler”) tanılamamlanmış bir düzende, α-amino asitlerin birbirine rabıtlanmasıyla oluşan endamsız polimerlerdir.[1] Bir amino asit lafıntısı ile başkası arasındaki bağ bir “amit bağ” yahut peptit bağı olarak bilinir.[1]

Tetrapeptit (Oligopeptit)
Proteinler polipeptit molekülleridir (yahut çok nüshada polipeptit ast birimi barındırır). Bel kemiği başkalık peptitlerin endamsız, polipeptitlerin/proteinlerin ise uzun olmasıdır.[1]

Protein sentezi sırasında her amino asit, sair amino asite sabah akşam, kırılmayan bir polimer olan polipeptid zincirleriyle rabıtlanır. Polipeptid bünyesına zalimlan amino asitlerin her biri bünyeya peptid rabıtlarıyla rabıtlanır. Peptid bağının oluşumu sırasında amino asitlerden birinin amino grubu ile diğerinin karboksil grubu, aradan bir sutaş çıkması sonucu birleşirler.[1]

Averaj bir polipeptit zinciri 450 amino asitten oluşur.[1] Bilindik en uzun polipeptit, ortalama 27,000 amino asitten oluşan, kas dokusunda mevcut “titin”dir. Polipeptid zincirine zalimlan amino asitlere lafıntı (residue) adı verilir.[1] Zincirin bir ucundaki lafıntı, bağ yapmamış, özgür amino grubu barındırır ve N ucu olarak adlandırılır. Aynı şekilde zincirin sair ucundaki özgür α-karboksil grubu olan lafıntıevet C ucu adı verilir.
